Lunch with the Ladies

Just a little peek at a lunch I recently hosted for my sister in law Jo's birthday and for us all to have a little catch up before Hugo Maxwell arrived!

Nine mothers and twelve children, including a set of twins and a newborn...........we had it all.

On the menu were chicken, mushroom and leak pies with rocket pear and parmesean salad, dressed in a sticky balsamic, follwed by individual lemon and sour cream cakes for dessert.

A fun time was had by all, both mums and babes which proves you CAN entertain with children!

The next day I did it all again but this time for four ladies and no kids.

Such a beautiful room and lovely gathering of mums and children. I especially like the 4 terrors sitting in a row and wonder what sort of bribe that took!
Have a lovely week.

Lovely table dressing Teesh. Also love seeing the reality of a fun filled room with girlfriends and the kids having fun. The menu sounds delish. Like the idea of the girly adult thing the next day - the best of both worlds.

What a stunning setting! I yearn for that kind of SPACE, but my little flat is just, well, too little! But that it London for you. Keep the ohotos coming. I am so enjoying your blog Teesh. x L
