I love an entrance!

I love an entrance!

So many farm houses have one but nobody uses them............what a waste.

When we were building our house I deliberately set up our round driveway to make visitors enter through our front door and into our entrance hall.

I think first impressions are so important.

What is your entrance like?

Thanks to Susan from Lemon Tree Photography for taking these pics for me.

Too nice for words!!! I dont really have an entrance, you walk straight into the main kitchen/living area - all get to see the mess that it can be.. Beautiful pics. Have a lovely week.

Your front entrance is lovely Letitia, I would love to have one as gorgeous as yours, unfortunately you walk straight into the living area at our house! It is such a pain particularly as the area is carpeted and not very practical. I do have a plan for making it a bit better though, hopefully we'll get round to it soon. xx

Letitia your entrance and home are stunning. I love the symmetry of your entrance. My sister lives on a farm and yes the entry is through a mud room out the back:(. I only redecorated our entry this year. I hardly ever come through that way. And then 1 day I did and thought this is not up to scratch. Love your pictures:)

Letitia, I also love your home and agree that an entrance is so important as it sets the stage for the rest of the house. Of course, some visitors only get as far as the entrance so that makes it extra special.

BTW I've mentioned you and your gorgeous dining room in my blog today.
