Happy Birthday Oliver!

My gorgeous big boy Oliver is turning 5 years old tomorrow!

I can remeber some of the day he was born. I was knocked out with a general anasthetic for his birth by caesarean, but we still have an amazing bond.

We are having our family over for dinner and a cake to celebrate tomorrow night and I have just finished setting up! Still a few more last minute finishing touches to be done tomorrow.

The cupcake wrappers, gift tags, paper cups and plates are all from Kimberlee's beatiful online store Brown Button Trading! Her store is filled with unique and stylish goodies, I could buy the whole shop! This amazing girl also has a day job...............so hard to believe! AND to top it off Kimberlee has fantastic blog Brown Button, pop by and read it if you not already I promise you will not be disappointed!

Local girl Sarah and very clever crafter, made the beautiful Pom Poms for me! Thanks Sarah!

Tomorrow is also a very special day for my friend Brooke. Her darling little girl Nellie was diagnosed with heart disease earlier this year and we are very lucky that she is still with us!

Brooke is hosting a Cuppa For Heart Kids Morning Tea tomorrow morning to raise awareness for childhood Heart Disease. My hubby Paul is running 12kms on the weekend in the City to Bay and raising money for Heartkids and dedicating his run to our little friend Nellie.

This was the first child of a friend that we have ever come close to losing and it has certainly made us appreciate our children and those close to us! I may be a little teary on the finish line!

Have a great weekend!

I want a party!! This looks like so much fun and simply gorgeous. A very lucky and cute boy. Is that my Sarah who made the pompoms? Good luck to Paul in the city to bay - I have trained twice for this and never did it (age and injury!?) I have just made a small donation to Nellies cuppa cause.
Enjoy tomorrow and Happy Birthday Ollie.

What a gorgeous party for a gorgeous boy! And a huge thumbs up for supporting Cuppa for Heartkids. I hosted a huge fundraiser for this last year. My firstborn Liam was a heartkid. An amazing chartity for some really tough kids! Good on you Paul!

I fall in love with Ollie all over again every time I see his brilliant face. I met him when he was just a few hours old and have been kissing tht beautiful face every opportunity I've had since then. 5 years - wow! Tato
