The garden is coming along! |
SA Life March 2012 |
Six years ago we moved in to our brand new house.
The building process was somewhat frustrating not helped by the fact that I had a 9 month old baby and another one on the way.
It was all worth it in the end.
I adore our home. I think it fits beautifully with our country family life and has only got better and better with time.
The large garden is still a work in progress and always will be but images like the above remind me of how far we have come.
I am truly grateful for my family, home, friends and lifestyle!
Thank you so much for this post Letitia. Being stuck right in the middle of the 'process' it is wonderfully motivating to be reminded of your efforts and success. Congratulations on a beautiful home!

ReplyDeleteIt's stunning. Congratulations Letitia.
a beautiful house it is but a home your family has made it!
ReplyDeleteLetitia, I love seeing how gardens grow - so much green from such a red beginning. Gives me hope that my own littlies will one day provide shade, border hedging and some secret nooks for Alice. x
ReplyDeleteYour home is absolutely stunning. I fits so beautifully in with its environment. Congratulations xT
ReplyDeleteI've said it before and I'll say it again... stunning, stunning, stunning!!!

Six years? time flies when you are having fun! Yes, the garden is definitely coming along - i love it!
ReplyDeletere kittens? - Chuck Bass is a british blue short hair. It was a 'designer cat' for me. The guys at my work are giving me grief for not going to the RSPCA. But its too late now, Chuck is to die for, the cutest ball of fluff going around and he purrs like a little outboard motor!! xx
so amazing - you've done so well with the design, and decor of course!!! I'd love to hear you blog a bit about the country life, the weather, water problems?? things like that, so people like me can dream a bit more about your lifestyle. I just love that Main Street Pic, that stuff really pulls me into believing I could live in a country town... we can dream....
