Local Ladies Christmas Lunch

Yesterday I had seven lovely local ladies over for a rather long Christmas Lunch.

This time of year is crazy busy with harvest, the shop and children's commitments but I always think you should make the time and effort to catch up.

I have so many funny memories of yesterday!

On the menu was prawn bruschettas with avocado salsa, turkey roll with cranberry and pistachio stuffing with pumpkin, rocket and fetta salad followed by Georgie's amazing Lemon Tart and Jo's delicious truffles.

I am truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and a fabulous local community to live in.

I wouldn't rather live anywhere in the world!

The dining room looks amazing! I gather the 'champagne marinade' worked as sounds like it was a very long lunch as well! Hugs, Mel xxoo

What a stunning table setting! And I'm especially impressed that you managed such an elegant lunch in the middle of harvest - a very civilized tradition!
