Paul Bangay

Sorry for my lack of posts I seem to be unable to load the posting toolbar most of the time.
I am also unable to comment on other blogs which is frustrating but I have been visiting!

In my opinion there is absolutely no better garden designer than Paul Bangay!

I own three of his magnificent books (need more) which I read over and over.

I love the symmetry, restraint and simplicity of his work.

Off to flick through his pages and find some insipration!

  1. Letitia, I'm with you on this one. I too have his books, all of them in fact but if only I had the money (and the water-we are on a farm) I know what my garden would look like!!! I love the symmetry and am trying to bring it into my garden-slowly but surely.

  2. Oh I love his work too. You can always tell one of his gardens they are wonderful. Sadly we have had 12 years of drought so there has been very little planting apart from veges around here for some time.

  3. I have exactly the same issues with blogging/posts. I can occasionally comment on the third try for some reason. Hope you get this one. Love this garden - unlike my non-garden or lack of green thumb and enthusiasm. Still seeding! See you next week.

  6. I absolutely adore Paul Bangay's gardens!!!!! We have been inspired by many of his ideas for our own garden. Just gorgeous!!! Sorry to hear about your blogging problems, I had the same thing a few months ago but was able to sort them by getting rid of the caches and cookies on my machine. There are some 'how to' instructions on the help forum in Blogger. So frustrating isn't it?

  7. I'm with you there Teesh - he is amazing. I love a neatly clipped hedge, and he does it better than all the others.
    Happy week!

  9. We have been fortunate to have Paul redesign our country garden and while we still have work to do we are thrilled with the results so far. We are big Paul fans!

  10. You are so right Letitia, Paul is a talent so few know about outside the design industry. If he were a footballer he would be Australian of the Year. He has added style, class and a uncommon graciousness to the design world. His work is world class, he is passionate artist and a true gentleman. Wish there were more like him in the design indusry Australia woudl be a very rich country indeed.
    Love your blog,
    warm wishes,
    Daryl Wark
